Roof Leak causes mold at a social club in Cambridge, MA
The roof at a social club in Belmont, MA had an ongoing leak that caused water to drip down into the basement. Every time it rained, water ran down into the musty basement floor and wicked up the drywall. Excessive moisture can cause mold to grow after 72 hours if not dried completely. The picture is of a storage room that was rarely used and was discovered after some shelving had been moved. After the roof had been fixed, the social club called SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont (617) 864-7378 to assist them with the mold radiation. We followed IICRC protocol during the mold remediation. SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont performs services for residential, industrial and commercial properties.
