Rainstorm carries mud and outside debris into a Belmont home

The rain came and left quickly carrying mud and debris from the surrounding perimeter of the house. The homeowner was overwhelmed with the situation and didn’t know what to do or who to call. A neighbor told them to call SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont and that they would take care of the situation quickly. The SERVPRO crew arrived, assessed the situation, moved contents and pressure washed the floor getting rid of all the mud. We came back a few days later and cut the walls per category 3 protocol. We installed drying equipment, performed moisture readings and provided the homeowner a sense of normalcy.
