Mold Remediation in the classroom
The downspouts around the school didn’t have splash blocks to divert the water form around=d the foundation. Water would seep into the basement classroom wicking up the drywall. After repeated rain storms, mold began to grow on the walls. The school department called in an IEP (Indoor Environmental Professional) to perform air quality tests. The tests results showed elevated levels of mold. The IEP suggested the school call SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont to perform the mold remediation. The IEP sent the mold protocol to SERVPRO, who followed the protocol. The IEP performed a post remediation test, the test results showed the room to fall into the normal range and the classroom was ready for post remediation construction. If you are a municipality or a property manager and you suspect that you have mold, call the mold experts at SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont.
